The One You Feed 2020 Film Review:

The trailer for this looked interesting, but even more then that led me to believe this movie would be homoerotic , which it is. Interesting, only slightly, but as a previous review says, this is mainly a “what the H*ll did I just watch” kind of film. It’s awful, if well shot, with very little dialogue and what there is of dialogue is unbelievably bad. The actors seem like they might be good, until they open their mouths to utter the most asinine things and then it’s all just cringeworthy. Was there even a script ? Shots with nothing going on linger way too long. Most of the movie goes completely unexplained. While I feel like I have some idea of what was going on, Drew Harwood as writer, director and actor has created a film that borders on being unwatchable. There are long stretches with no dialogue at all and given the situations presented in the film, characters should have been, at least, asking questions ? The only people involved in this who seemed to know what they were doing were the people involved in the camera work. Other then that, the homoerotic elements were well done, and if Harwood ever decides to fully commit to a completely homoerotic film, he may make a masterpiece. Unfortunately this is just a mess.
