This movie was really good, and not just compared to Nigerian standard, it can hold its weight internationally. For me, I use it from the lens of the multiverse. The protagonist’s consciousness was thrown into an alternate reality after having a NDE, were he lived as himself in this other reality, that was similar and also different from his current one. It was so much this movie made me want to explore; like how the other alternate Sumni fared after the main Sumni awoke out of that reality.

All in, I liked this movie a lot; I thought they did a wonderful job in the acting and storytelling. But I just, for the life of me, I couldn’t get past the bread sellers Yoruba. Lol. What was that accent? It grained on my nerves so much so that, It reduced my enjoyment of the movie a notch, which, again, was good stuff. Why didn’t they just allow her speak normal Yoruba! It sounded so off and unnatural to me. However, she acted her part excellently.

The main protagonist, Sunmi, performed his role well too. The movie dialogue was meaningful and realistic (almost a first for a Nigerian movie) and worth following. All in all, wonderful movie with a wonderful ending. But I give a 8 because I just couldn’t get past the one Yoruba accent. Lol.
