Review of Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024 Movie):

User Review: The movie had the potential for a strong story but faltered due to a lack of logic and poor editing. The over-the-top stunts and action sequences were major disappointments. With a runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes, the film feels sluggish and riddled with repetitive plot-lines. The first 20 minutes, including a song between the lead pair, adds no value and feels like a complete waste of time. Overall, a huge letdown. The only saving grace for this movie is the lead actor, cinematographer & story writer . However music, editing, screenplay and direction are huge disappointment. Unfortunately, certain aspects of the movie resemble a ” Boyapati Srinu ” movie. Huge disappointment from a very potential & clever writer director.

The movie undeniably excels in certain aspects, particularly Bunny’s exceptional acting and the electrifying mass fight scenes. However, it falls short in other critical areas. The storyline feels underwhelming, and the underutilization of talented actors like Fafa is a missed opportunity. It’s perplexing that the film took four years to complete, as the final product doesn’t justify that level of investment.

Although I genuinely hoped for the movie to achieve blockbuster success, it unfortunately devolved into an overly stretched drama. The sluggish pacing makes it a tedious watch at times, and the excessive use of intimate scenes felt unnecessary, diminishing the overall impact. Moreover, introducing a Part 3 feels unwarranted unless there is a compelling story to tell. But firstly,part 2 doesn’t has a decent plot.
